For the deeply in love, the adventurer at heart. With a photo journalistic approach I strive to capture love in its raw form. I don't want to just capture a beautiful image, I want to capture a beautiful feeling.

I create a space to let you be in the moment, I want you to soak in the love and joy. Letting the tears fall, sharing flirtatious whispers, and stolen glances; moments so small and authentic you may not even realize the significance as they're happening.

I'm not about "say cheese", just simply love each other in the way you know and I'll take care of the rest.

I cannot say enough good things about Jess! I found her after hours and hours of searching for the perfect photographer for my wedding. Since our initial meeting, Jess was very professional and comforting. My husband and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera, and she made sure to not makes us feel awkward. Every single question that I had throughout the wedding planning process was answered thoroughly and promptly and every idea I had, she made a reality. The day of the wedding, Jess was so creative and captured every moment that we wanted and more. She provided a few sneak peeks just two days after our wedding and they were everything I could have ever wanted (in addition to the full gallery we received, but seeing them so soon after the wedding was just AMAZING!) We definitely recommend her services for anyone needing engagement photos, wedding photos or other photo needs. We have even had a few families we know hire her after our wedding and we will continue to have her capture every future moment for our family!

Sometimes a couple will tell me they’re awkward in front of the camera, but every time they step in front of the camera I find out they must’ve been lying 😏

Sometimes couples will ask me, “do people usually do x or y?” And my response is usually along the lines of “well a lot of people do x but it’s your wedding day so you make the rules”

This wedding dress is a reminder, it’s your day YOU make the rules 💃

That end of the night shot is always pure joy, no more timeline, no stress about what happens next or how it will pan out. Just two lovebirds fully in this moment 😙

✨ Going to the chapel and we’re gonna get married 💃✨

What do photos of puppies, kitties, and of Liv & Cody have in common? They’re too cute. ❤️

Mother & child. Love in its purest form ❤️

Siblings know how to push each others buttons, but minutes later they’ll melt your heart ❤️

Barefoot by the creek, kids with adorable southern twang, just having a good time.. sessions like these bring me back to my own childhood ❤️

Theo is almost a year old which is crazy because I could’ve sworn we took these photos yesterday 😭

These two made a promise they wouldn't kiss on their wedding day until they got to the alter, no one said anything about forehead kisses and sharing a sweet moment together during their first look though 🥰

A classic send off for a timeless kind of love 🥰✨

Once I had the idea to ask a kid during a session if they could run full speed toward me and my camera.
I had no clue what the result would be, I just know that I love sharing silly moments with these families to break the ice and make sessions more fun (and yes, I embarrass myself plenty in the process!)
Now asking kids to run as fast as they can toward me is a go-to prompt. It always seems to shake off those nerves and I love that every kid has a different response, each with their own unique expression and energy

One thing they don’t tell you about being a photographer, half the work is chasing kids 😜
Personally I prefer the personality shots, you won’t catch me asking a kid to stay still for long

No idea if we were allowed to use these boats but as an ancient scholar once said “YOLO”

When clients ask me about rescheduling due to weather I don’t always give the same answer, heres why

Every client has a different vision and goal for their session, I personally love a good romantic moody overcast. Someone might love a good dance in the rain, another might be looking forward to warmth and that first pop of spring color, one clients child might want to throw on their muddy puddle boots and another may need to feel as comfortable as possible to really enjoy their session. I’ll always be the one to keep an eye on the weather forecast the day before, and I’ll never assume what someone is down for but I will give my input and sometimes that input is “hey want to go play in the rain? 😎” #nashvilleweddingphotographer #nashvillebride #reels #weddingreels

This morning I ask myself which do I love more, having extra daylight hours to spend with my family and clients orrrrr not having to wake up what feels like an hour earlier this week 🤔 most days I’d choose extra sunlight, if you asked me today.. I would’ve loved to sleep longer 😂

When you approach things with intention you go from experiencing a first dance to experiencing many little moments with your partner leading up, the planning, practice, communication, maybe even the compromises, and finally the execution making it that much more special. ❤️
